Social Bowls

This page is for Social bowls at City Oval .

WINTER

From 1st May to 20th August there is no planned bowls program.  However subject to weather and greens there may be a few members and friends who will get together for a competitive game on a Thursday – either 11am or 1pm or a Saturday 1pm.

During this “off-season”  social indoor bias bowls is played in the clubhouse on Saturdays at 1pm subject to any functions.

SUMMER

Our Nominated Thursday Tournament Triples commences 19th October 2023 and is played every second Thursday.

1. Nominated teams with single entries as fill-ins or as a composite team
2. Limited to 24 teams
3. Uniform required
4. 1pm start
5. 2 games of 13 ends of 2 bowl triples

Thursday Social is played every second Thursday – offset with Thursday Nominated Triples.

• 1PM Start

Friday Social is short session followed by our Friday Members night

Sat Social is only available during Non Pennant Playing days

Actual game format is decided on day depending on entries and weather. Dress is casual
