The City Oval Bowling Club is a family friendly venue located in Sturt St Ballarat.  With plenty of free parking, friendly staff and great prices, your next function is sure to be a hit.

Whilst primarily a community bowling club (no pokies) our facilities are utilised by interest groups, business presentations and for private functions

Here at the City Oval  we cater for birthdays parties, reunions, wakes, engagements, weddings, work do’s, dances, wind-up’s and a range a range of corporate requirements.

Our main room capacity is from 10 to 120 people seated and is perfect for conferences, training sessions, seminars, corporate functions and celebrations. The Clubhouse is equipped with  in-house audio visual connections, commercial kitchen with tea and coffee facilities and a licensed bar to ensure your event is bound to be smooth sailing.

We also have a fully equipped commercial kitchen so you can self cater or external catering options are available.

As your event is being held at a bowling club you may want to add a few ends of barefoot bowls to your package.

Type of Functions:	Conferences, seminars, weddings, engagements, wakes, birthdays  (21st and older), re-unions, work-do’s, quiz nights, sporting  wind-up’s or presentations, dances or nearly any other function you can think of.
Licensed/BYO:	Fully Licensed / No BYO
Catering:	Self Catering – or we can recommend caters
Parking Information:	Ample Free Onsite Parking
Disabled Access:	Yes but marginal. Discuss requirements with the club
Dance Floor:	Yes – in the Hall
Costs	$250 for parties/functions/events where drinks will be purchased from the bar $140 for meetings/exhibitions etc. no alcohol served $Negotiable for interest groups – small group meetings/classes etc
Technical Facilities:	Sound System complete with microphone and ipod dock,  Projectors,. We recommend you visit and test your equipment prior to the event

General Rules and Conditions
1. Have Fun and respect Club and surrounds
2.You and your friends are responsible for setup of tables/decorations etc and for a cleanup at end of function
3. Bar Area and toilet facilities may be shared with club members and/or other patrons participating in outside functions.
